But now with LG, Sony LG Chem, other brands are sourcing batteries from them... Sony and/or LG batteries can be easily found in many smartphones, be it the expensive or cheaper models, across many brands...

Totally Wrong...Sony never used Samsung batterys. There was some discussion, but sales never happened.
In fact Sony doesn't make batterys anymore. In 2017, Sony sold its battery business to Murata, which is based in china. Sony buys its batterys from Murata now.

Sony still has numerous ongoing law suits from Dell, HP, Toshiba etc etc over exploding Sony batterys from 2006 - 2013. Hence, due to $billions owed, Sony sold its battery business.

There is NOT any company called " Sony LG Chem". LG Chem in totally independant.

Please do some research and write facts, not what you choose to believe.

"As usual can't talk in public about it: my fold test unit shows a large white hollow on edges of the screen. This effect is actually growing every hour."

This is what you get when you buy an inferior product, with only specs and no user experience in mind.

He he. Such a pthetic situation. Samsung using a 'protective film' to keep a display in shape. It's like using duct tape to keep air in a car tyre.

Your Wrong, as usual. LG made the first 4k Oled screen, HTC, Nokia etc were first with stereo speakers, slow mode video has been used well before Sony. You mean the failed side FP scanners from Sony, that Sony has now stopped....hahaha

Also, nobody deserves to be a beta tester outside the gazillion dollar facilities of these corporations run by greedy execs.

I bet lots of engineers knew the problem but some top dog wants to have immediate credit so they rushed this trash outside.

Your luxury term really diffirent than mine. (and it shouldnt be called luxury at all. Damn, apple fanboys term is everywhere)

Let say i buy a gaming desktop with the latest technology (of course it come with higher price) or close to it. According to samsung fanboys, i need to babysit it, caress it meaning i play yahoo games or ordinary games with basic graphics. Also i need to buy extra gauge to monitor temp n setup it minimum if i ever want to play high demand games. Lol

Or i should buy a crap desktop setup/basic desktop setup to play high demand games. Lol
