The only... moreiPhone 6 generation is the best selling iPhone generation but apple iPhone total sales peaked in 2017 during the iPhone X generation.
Same with Samsung, their best selling S generation is the S3, but total smartphone sales didn’t peak until a couple of years later while their low and midrange was still booming until Chinese oems took over.
The only exception is, ironically, your lg peaked with g3 and total volume sales, it’s gone downhill ever since.

Wow you are out of touch with reality.
Apple could stop selling every hardware and they would do fine for many years. They print billions without selling any hardware. Losing one billion users would take years.

Apple peaked in volume sales with the iPhone 6.
The only Apple product I plan to keep for life is my MacBook Air I got from 2016. I only like macOS. I can't stand iOS. I love my MBA's craftsmanship and how stable it is compared to my previous Windows laptops.
The only time I might enter an Apple Store again is when I'm replacing the battery for it. Never again with iPhones. Don't care if the design is way better in the next one or they use a metal back. I hate iOS and iTunes.

Since the inception of iPods, i learn never to underestimate this company. They think different, thats normal haters will not get it.

Delic, 20 Apr 2019Those are completely different companies and has nothing to... moreLol, they are a part of Samsung conglomerate, they can basically shut their phone division down and only lose 20-30 percentage, while that's devastating, it's not end of the world, if apple stops selling iPhones tomorrow, they'll shut down day after tomorrow, that is what one trick pony means

So if Samsung phone sales are bad Samsung result is bad, if other companies phone sales are bad, Samsung result is bad, exactly what happening now and that’s why Samsung gave result warning for last q and for this q too.

And all of those doing badly, didn’t you read the news that Samsung gave result warning for their current quarter?
”Samsung had warned of an earnings decline for the year in its Q4 2018 results as well. It expected demand for memory products to remain weak in the first quarter of this year. It also predicted a decline in the profitability of OLED panels.”
Maybe you don’t want to accept it, but Samsung is one trick pony too.

Why on earth should I care what other people buy?!?! How did you get that idea??
The problem is that NO brands comes up with anything substantially new, so no surprise that a falling number of people are wanting to waste their money buying what is offered, and hence the effect on the sales...
I'm not complaining on high prices of phablets either IF they offer some value for money.
