Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicts a few selfie camera improvements.

Likewise, if they really want everything to be easy and simple, then they shouldn't have removed the headphone jack in the first place. But anyway I also doubt they'd ever put full manual controls inside their camera apps. After all, their UI has remained the same for like what? 5 years?

    I wanna see how Apple and Google utilize Sony's IMX586. That is a larger sensor size than what they're currently using and it's a Quad Bayer 48MP camera.

Most would just ruin their photos with manual controls. Apple want people to get as good photos as possible without any extra effort.

          I agree with the video shooting modes, those should be inside the camera app and i don’t understand why those aren’t. Shouldn’t be hard to get them there.

                  Okay, but we need a good Night Mode functionality to have some really great low light shots.
                  If not this one, then maybe a proper manual mode instead in the main camera app, with full controls to everything, especially shutter that goes up to 30s long.
                  Also, put the video resolution setting inside the camera app already! Switching between 4K 30fps and 60fps shouldn't be an external app function!

                        If they will do something better - they will increase the price even more. It's Apple.

                          Improved rear and selfie cameras, what a bold prediction! My bold prediction is that it will have an upgraded chipset, a touchscreen, and it will have a new version of iOS!
