There were tons of other stuff that were just as "explosive" as that, the petite Galaxy Young, phablet madness, stylus-included tablets, cheap Chromebooks, the legendary S5, 10 years of microSD and 3.5mm jacks, QLED TVs. But people saw only the bad side of them from the slow TouchWiz to the "unnecessary" curved screens

The thing is, Xiaomi has some ad-ridden phones here (I checked a friend's Xiaomi), so it's possible for it to happen. I know how to tweak off ads a bit myself, but I don't think eveyone else will be happy

                Now that I thought about it, a big deal of techies and other normal people here kinda hate Samsung. Because of their past stuff perhaps, like the J series. Seriously didn't feel much slowness on my J3 tho, in spite of my task managing skills. Guess they just didn't know how to keep their phones from slowing down

                    Walter C. Dornez, 24 Apr 2019...... Might be time for an upgrade. Good thing the budget ... moreHeh, that reaction. My mom got this for me actually (obviously), and for $65 in MYR, gladly it wasn't a feature phone. So it wasn't my choice to have this really :P

                    Had a J3 (2016) before this one, I liked it better for the 1mm thinner body and bigger battery (wow...). I'm also waiting for the A20e or A10e to be released in my country, not really fond of those other (155x74x8.5)mm giants. And people like you-know-whom say the 3.5mm jack is "oldschool", while phones are taking a step back in sizes, sigh...

                    One thing that concerns me about budget phones now are built-in ads (thanks Xiaomi). Now with Samsung possibly joining this accursed move, it'd be a matter of time before Realme, Honor and the like follow. Makes you wonder if budget phones really have gone better...

                                        the only thing keeping me from buying Meizu phones are their updates, they could've done better with it like Vivo, or maybe Xiaomi atleast, but they are in the likes of Asus, tho Asus is worse for promising updates but no actually initiating them
