Why don't you hand them over, intact, to be recycled? You can drop the Apple product at Apple Store or mail them back and others at Best Buy. They will be disassembled and properly recycled. Smashing them into pieces make recycling almost impossible and thus allows all the heavy metal to seep into the ground once disposed in a landfill.

The only Channels that i would accept are educational videos that show Smartphones durability are JerryRig and some other channels that do it but for people who want to buy their best device for the money.
These channels on other hand are simply destruction videos.They have nothing amusing but simple abuse towards innocent technology. But guess what ? They are American.Americans shows have long time history of wrecking things for some sort of entertainment.There is WWE,then those Monster trucks destroying cars who aren't working,TVs destruction,burning houses,burning castles,slicing and opening up objects.
We just have to bare these type of channels and let it go.Us who are educated and intelligent enough that this sort of entertainment isn't the right thing to do will know that Wrecking things isn't fair and wouldn't subscribe or like or share these type of videos.
I would like for GSMarena as people and company who are technology lovers,promoters and people with rational mind not share and promote these video since there are people here who like their old phones or phones out of shape and are interested in videos that show phone durability from new generation in non primitive ways like shown here.
