I heard that it's going to be much more expensive. I think OnePlus thinks that their customers are not the budget-oriented type. Given the option when the price gap is minimal, I'd rather go for Samsung flagships, tbh.

    "Designed by OnePlus"

More and more, the lines between Oppo and OnePlus are blurred. I'd rather have them merged since that they're so insisting of making each other look so similar.

OP7 Pro won't be the first phone to offer a 90hz OLED display though. The Asus Rog Phone offered it last year. That had a 1080p display though, so if OP7 Pro has a 1440p panel instead, then that's obviously better.

There will obviously be a price hike, but it still shouldn't cost as much as other flagships because it lacks "premium" flagship features like wireless charging & IP certification. They're probably aiming for that XR price tag.

This is the problem with selling cheap phones and breaking the market.

You try to come up with a tech excuse to rise the price of your smartphone. You get critics and trolled.

No wonder Samsung / Apple never reduce their price (Lower price, get trolled, or Keep the price high and get trolled.). Consumers are never satisfied.

What will you prefer - bigger battery and better camera or unnecessary for now tech like 5g (where iis it?) with smaller battery and power-hungry display? Tech just for excuse price increase.

OnePlus have no wireless charging, IP rating, 3.5mm headphone jack, and SD card. What OnePlus does have is Chinese spyware, mediocre cameras, and only 2 years of OS updates. All of these features and essentials are missing or implemented poorly, yet they're charging more and more for less. But hey, at least your phone charges fast!

Before launching 6T model, he said also, that OnePlus never will abandon 3,5 jack input. And he lied. So he'll lie here also, saying marketing bla bla bla for dummies.

I hope their sale falls significantly so they finally learn a lesson. Their unstoppable increase in the price is getting out of hands. They used to be affordable high end device but now.. they are showing their true colours!
Its the people who made you what you are.. so stop stabbing your audience.

Man I hope they bring their phones to sprint because if they do then I’ll gladly trade in my IPhone XR.

Id One+ wants FLAGSHIP level they have to wirk hard on DISPLAY + CAMERA + FEATURES ( Ip68, wireless charging, stereospeakers, headphone jack, Quad DAC, IR blaster etc - some of those)
Otherwise they still remain midranger level
BUT - all these costs MONEY so they shall raise the prices... And their image is not Samsung, Apple, Huawei yet

Anything overhyped to justify their never-ending quest to break apart from what made people choose OnePlus: value for money. Never settle for low profits.

Yes do say the screen will cost 3x more. Either your price negotiating skills are pure junk, or you openly lie. This isn't the kind of claim upon which you can sue, so don't hesitate to say them again and again.

This OnePlus 7/Pro deserves a solid yawning.
