What's the story with this device ??? Is nice , but 1500$ is crazy price...
I have one already and .......??? is not that WAW... I paid only 750$ and still wondering if worth the money ...

I agree this phone is not worth $1500 or 999euros.. there are far better phones out there application wise and look wise. The only thing the Iphone has going for it is its Unique interface and the Apple brand..
Phones such as the Nokia n81 8gb and nokia n95 8gb wipe the floor with iphone so to me waste of time and money.

i think iphone is trashy with all the restrictions and limited functionality and exhorbitant price. i pray that it does so bad that they have to lower its price to $100

the iphone is a great phone no doubts
i work in a phone shop in the uk and i have had every top end phone n95,k850,8800,htc touch,etc
and all of those have supposed better specs !
but the iphone is way ahead of all of them, i would never go back to a nokia or any other brand because they bore me
who cares about a 5 mega pixle camera its a phone, 2mp is fine for taking pics of your mates etc
at the end of the day everyone is slagging off the iphone because its a threat to every phone manufacturer ,it has changed the way phones function and no longer will they get away with poor u.i and un reliable software .
in the uk we get an iphone for £269 and all the tariffs come with unlimited data and free wi-fi subscription . thats a good deal !
for all those not amazed by the iphone ......go and try one .if you still slag it off, seek medical advice.

it's really to much price spicaily that the iphone have alot of bad speces like you can't transfer data or any files by Bluetooth
and you cant replay a sms and also cant send the same sms to more than one contact and you cant record a vedio and you cant update ur iphone software if you try it out of usa in my miend i will waite the second release from this iphone with fixing to all this problems and with agood price to buy

Right now, iPhone is a closed platform. So you wont be able to download and instal applications there. Well, iPhone SDK will be available in short time. Hope after that people can explore much. Please don't comapre LG prada with iPhone. iPhone is a class of its own. Check the UI of iPhone. Its the best I've ever seen.

can somebody do something here. What's Steve Jobs doing to us. The iPhone is too expensive for what it has to offer. I think the German court needs to also step in on the price issue coz its way too much.

The iPhone is beautiful, no doubt. The ridiculous price is proof that apple / t-mobile doesnt care about the consumers - its only after the consumer's money. I applaud the fact that there are unlocking softwares out there. I think its sending a message out there that consumers should be treated fairly and not marginalised by a ridiculous tag price for a a common device that happens to look nice. Sorry, but i can live without ipod, iphone, imac or anything apple.

ZOMG, teh iPhone's being sold ecspensives on teh unlocked. My goodness, the inane comments on this article are just mind-boggling. Yes, it's expensive, for the reasons some of the post-pubescent commentators here have stated. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the potential for providing easy unlocking for all other iPhones and future firmware updates now that there is an officially unlocked version - it should be trivial going forward to extract the firmware from unlocked phones and use it to unlock others.

999 Euros...........for 1 iphone, I could buy 2 HTC Touch, which has twice as much feature. Good bye iphone, you've just lost it, Steve! All other mobile phone manufacturer laughing at you for being stupid!!!
