To attract customers who can afford those iphones, samsungs, huaweis, they need to offer what they offer, there is no way around that. But they make the phone as cheap as posdible and try to make profits from the structure of the company they have set up. Globally there is no other company that can do better except from xiaomi, but xiaomi has already explained how yhey can sell at cost and expect to make profits from accessories.
Oneplus has a special trait and thats their clear OS, that allows them to run things smoother than the most and dont drain battery. Many ppl value this and they are taking this to the next level.
As for India you will be happy to find out that there will be special prices, the best in the world and im sure that yhe normal 7 will be very close to the 6T price. They could have skipped it, but they respect everyone, so they gave us a different variation just for them. Its really unfair that ppl pretend that they fidnt and only focus on the pro price tag

They are a second-mover company which means they introduce features after other company did the same, but at lesser price. Now they try to jack up the price with phone that has nothing special. For those features that you mention, they should be priced between 500-550 euros. But now, they are asking too much for their copied features. It also has a lot of bugs in its software with a very poor camera. It is not worth 700 euros. Yes, it will be a flagship killer but not at that price. It already trying hard to be premium flagship.

Congratulations Oneplus for successfully increasing your prices to nearly premium flagship level like Samsung, Apple, and Huawei. I used to like the features and value of your phones, but now you just keep on chasing the prices of Apple and Samsung. I think you already forgot your roots of being a cheap chinese brand that offers flagship phones at a fraction of the price.
Now with that price, Xiaomi will be a clean winner in the budget flagship segment. You have no room there bcos you already positioned yourself in the flagship level of pricing. That levels you with the P30 and S10e but with more bugs, unstable software, and very bad camera. You have no right to be priced at that level bcos you cannot produce a camera on the same level as huawei or a screen and durability like a samsung. All you do is borrow camera technology from VIVO and OPPO which are also performing bad. You think your brand is already premium but no, you are still a cheap chinese ripoff phone. Even Xiaomi recognizes that and they maintained their prices low.
How about you Oneplus? you think your capable of any innovation? No, you're not. And you have no right to price your device at 700 euros. You cannot sell in India anymore. This is very disappointing.

OnePlus did not care to be the cheapest option around like the pocophone. They wanted to be a vfm flagship. Which means that the phone ought to have flagship characteristics, yet a fair price. In the past 3 years flagships raised the bar. They have multiple cameras, exotic dual curved glass design, hdr led panels etc.
A flagship either be apple, samsung, sony or even huawei, is now a $1000+ device. And all of those devices are trying to be nearly perfect in every way, however have a special trait that will give it a unique character. For ex samsung has the best display, P series from huawei the cameras.
Thats exactly what oneplus is trying with the 7pro
Ultrafast charging, triple cam combo, stereospeakers, luxurious design, high resolution and contrast display, big battery, the latest+greatest cpu and of course highlighting their trademark, taking advantage of their clean OS and drawing from their core, the smoothness. The next step to smoothness, which is only possible with such an expensive device.
They understand that a part of their early popularity was strickly the cheapest

Other tablets are available. Sad end for this make. X55 modem is a minimum for 5G. 2020 should be a good year for mobile phones.
