Where there is no need of display itself, all they need to figure out is, how to make watch or band like device project holographic screen, which can be used as normal touch or motion sensor. For audio we already have earbuds. That would be something new not foldable devices. I see no future with foldable devices, other then it being some kind scam for a brand to rip people off with offering something technically not new.

Not only is it more exposed to the elements, but it will have quite the kinetic energy acting upon it with that snap

The foldable glass is not yet coming with the plastic layer one simple scratch would ruin the surface. Remember Gorilla Glass 5 is still scratch-able don't even think the unverified layer can makes magic protection. Well well... The only thing we can found Huawei and Samsung can start the mocking war earlier because the critic word 'butterfly' is a bit mocking and provoking especially come from a well-known site.

Huawei and samsung reminds me of the old sony-ericson "many many years ago". Always innovating and always different compared to others.

Samsung is next.
And this complet unknown company made a well working device at that time.
Compared to well known Samsung which presented huge failuer to audience.

this coming from ifixit a super pro Apple organization/group .... just take it with a grain of salt even if it is true better think twice first.
I think thrice on those coming from 3rd party reviewers like jerryrig etc. what more this basically sub-apple group.
