Everyone slating the design of the phone, but let's stop for a minute and think about it. Firstly it's a new design so although there are problems lets give them some thanks for at least trying a new design instead of just another square brick like every other phone is.. Back when the phones were coming out you had different designs, remember the Nokia N-gage, etc... Now it's a just a sqaure slab of metal..
Secondly remember when Apple gave us a phone with a notch in it, Everyone was saying "rubbish, never use that, worse design ever..." etc.. Now a lot of other manufacturers are making phones with this design or improving on the design. People are now saying "nice, great design, etc"..
everyone seems to want to slag off innovative designs when they first come out, because it's something different.. Yes the Fold may fail, but then with some tinkering, modifications, changing and swapping around. One day we will have folding phones and then everyone will be saying how great they are.. Yet they were the ones saying how bad the first generation was..
I myself can't wait to see what new designs and changes will happen, I owned one of the original phone bricks when they first come out and have seen phones change over the years to what they are now.

Lol what im concern actually are tru.
The fold design is crap and useless af.
The hinges itself is prone to dust and have big gap when folded and its not even funny. U cant even grip it little bit hard, cant put it in pocket etc. But but but who th put smartphone in pocket right?
Not to mention the screen. With this kind of fold (innie), u are guarantee to get a permanent hard line crease in the middle. Sooner or later, it will be either crack and split the screen or black bar in the middle. Seems like a big ugly notch is not enough right.
This design is not new. Its old and apply with crap tech, there you go.
Such a useless product.
And to think that ppl defend this kind of design/form factor LOL

people are lashing out at samsung as if they have bought the galaxy fold. this has not been launched, nevertheless sold, as of yet. those that were sent out to reviewers were for free. you may say i am defending samsung because of my nickname, but no- this is just what the truth is. i have moved on to razer and xiaomi for my smartphones.

It's funny that most people believe that the Huawei X fold is the best foldable phone, when in fact that product itself has not yet been released. We still don't know if it has any problems or defects. It just shows that those (Huawei Die hard fans) are just stupid as ever..
Sorry if my comment offends you but that is the cold hard truth.

I have my popcorn ready for Jerryrigeverything to try his sharp tools on the plastic screen and bend test. The video will be one of the worst marketing videos for Samsung period, even the note 7 fiasco is not this level of bad product going to the customers without testing.

Shame but the product to me seems half baked. More let's get it quick. They didn't need to rush. Just create a spectacular product. As it is. This has flop written all over it. Sorry Samsung but Huawei Mate X is the folding future. You should scrap this and redesign product

That's the case in almost every new technology. And that's the price early buyers should pay.
Still, next year they might just put a fan to more use of the gaps ;p
