Xiomi note 7 pro has a similar set up of 3 cameras. Vivo v15pro too has a similar camera set up. Only the sensor brand differs. Xiomi could have given good results for its camera (as other brands done for same sensor)had done its homework sincerely for camera algorithms. It is good to do some introspection and offer best to the consumer at affordable prices which has been the Xiomi policy till now. Hope it was not given a send off. It will be nice to read:

Now a similar set up of cameras are proposed with 730 processor. Will they offer good camera software to get really good photo/videos?. Will the cameras be stabilised for photo videos?

Why marketing of xiomi mi8 and mi9 are not marketed in India. Again their batteries are of low capacity.

I'm pretty sure that this phone is mi 9se

Patiently waiting for the Mi Max 4.

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2019Hi guys, I need some opinion from pros. Is it worth it to ... moreSame IPS and DSP on both of them, in fact that's the main improvement on S730 regarding midrange offering (S735 will also bring the 5G integration). Compared to the S855 S730 has a one third sized GPU but much higher clocked which doesn’t help all that much as RAM bandwidth is also cut in half (2x16 bit vs 4x16 bit), should be around 45% of Adreno 640 performance. In the budget gaming category the good old S845 wins (with last year's flagship that are now highly discounted).

Also, Xiaomi is bugmi. Doesn't matter stock android or miui.

with that specs, PLEASE keep price similar to Mi A2 and dont increase.

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2019Hi guys, I need some opinion from pros. Is it worth it to ... moreThe 730 is comparable to the 845, except for graphics performance mainly. Not fair to compare with the 855 upcoming phone mainly because one is a premium mid ranger while other is a budget flagship, it's not stock android and has a rumored pop-up camera, and is also going to be costlier in my opinion.

And yes, 730 can ofc run 4k, night mode, and do slo-mo. While also being able to play all games out there (not emulated ones) at high-ish settings. But whether you would find features like slo-mo depends wholly on the software provided by manufacturer.

As for MIUI vs stock Android One, there's a lot of differences. MIUI has a different look and feel completely, has a lot of features like app lock, dual apps, native screen recording, etc built right into the system. But it also has apps that you cannot uninstall by regular methods like mi music, mi video, mi browser, security (which is the sketchiest app as it's provided by cheetah mobile) that you may not want to use because they show a lot of ads and keep sending nonsense push notifications (which can be partially blocked, but you need to put effort and time). Also, it is not uncommon to have some android features not work as intended and bugs in MIUI .

Stock Android One is stripped of all the extra features and is bare bones, plain and simple android. No unnecessary apps (except those from google), but you can download apps from the playstore that do similar things, albeit while probably showing you ads and not working as well as in MIUI. Android version and security updates tend to be better guaranteed in Android One, and are usually faster and regular. That said, the track record software wise hasn't been very good for a lot of bestselling android one phones too, like Nokia 7 plus or Mi A1. Constant bugs introduced because of constant updates fixing something and breaking something else.

So, it comes down to personal preference and what you value more. If you have been using Chinese phones with tons of features, MIUI may be more suited. If you have been using Moto, or other stock android phones you will have difficulties adapting to MIUI.

Anonymous, 27 Apr 2019Hi guys, I need some opinion from pros. Is it worth it to ... moreEven bigger question is that we are discussing on two phones abt which even rumours are not available for comparison. Need to wait for more reliable leaks bro

2+1 card slot a must plse & do make it wider: 78-80mm as the rest of phones are narrow. And you're going to have another winner.

I hope it is not the Mi A3, because I would hate that the global version does not have MIUI

Oh and if price is higher than Rs 12k, I'm not buying because they're clearly having a huge profit margin.

Unbelievable how the comments of *ANY* post on GSMA are negative/criticizing. It's worse than 9gag. Sheesh.

Hi guys, I need some opinion from pros.
Is it worth it to compare this device (probably Mi A3) with the upcoming SD 855 Redmi Phone?

The latest SD 730 should not be that far from the SD 855, in term of power.
Question is, can it run 4K? Night Mode? Slow video mode?

Also android one, I heard it's a whole lot better than MiUI.
                            What do you guys thinking?
