Nick the greek, 18 Jan 2012Completely different comparing a car manufacturer to a mobi... moreHardly different at all. You have a choice between a SGS2 and a S2HD. You take the HD because it's slightly better, its still the same model, just improved.
Now you have a choice between a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 and a Corsa 1.4. You'd take the 1.4? because it's slightly better. It's got naff all to do with innovation, thats where brand new models come in (Galaxy S3). What Samsung and any other manufacturing company are trying to achieve here, is elongating the life of their product by IMPROVING IT.

wheres your common sense Nick ? new innovation for the galaxy s3, this is galaxy s2 with a few better features, they arent trying to innovate with this....and yes you can compare the two, it is perfectly legit comparison, why bother releasing a 2 litre car when there is already a 1.8 version? nothing to do with innovation there

No they never used the same Design with a lot of different specs... right... Nokia simply had no sucess with it and Sammy does, thats the difference. People who talk abou uniquesness dont know what that meanns, iPhones are not unique at all, they are all the same and all other phones are as unique as S2.

Samsung is stupid - they release so many stupid versions over every phone that that average person couldn't even tell the difference. These are all phones that have no sense of uniqueness! and they get no recognition. Atleast motorola, and Nokia do something different physically and hardware wise to make them different...
stupid samsung. all your phones look like iphones that got run over by a bus.

whats wrong with making something good even better? i think the whole releasing the same model with better specs in between the new flagships is a great thing to do, some people love their phones with a passion so why not offer these people the chance to keep the same kind of phone for a wee bit longer but without feeling it is outdated, i for one would be happy with my arc s for the rest of my life if the screen was hd ! i think after we hit the hd screens and quad cores there wont be much left to do with android or touchscreen phones until something totaly new comes out so why not release as many good phnes as possible in this time?

So it has an upgraded cpu and a bigger screen....... So now its a choice betweennthe galaxy note or s2HD ffs Samsung I was impressed when I got my I9100 but your taking the piss now
