A TV with an 8K display and a 5G connection is really setting the next gen standards in television. I dont think anyone right now knows what full potential this can bring but its exciting stuff. I think it will eventually see the end of aerials and dishes for signals. The set top box will be gone too as all channels will be via apps on your tv streamed directly via 5G so it doesnt matter if you dont have broadband. Can you imagine Jeremy kyle show broadcast via 5G in 8k resolution lol or what about naked attraction lol

No point in 8K TVs since they'll have to be like over 80" to see the difference and pretty much no one has that kind of space

Huawei is really pushing in every area.

It wont flop like LeEco because Huawei make a lot of money through different sources.

Huawei is *the* leader in 5G

                                  8K means 7680 x 4320P , P is for PROGRESSIVE.
Only not less than 33.2 MP cameras can shoot 8K
videos and movies for 8K TV.
UHD is 4K. SAMSUNG and NHK take care for the future.
                                  Don't worry !

When did the last time I turn on the TV. I don't even remember. Unless I want to watch the news. Internet tv is great but 5G on 8K is overkill. Only sports enthusiast will love it.

"Samsung is the world leader in display technology and it is the only company actually manufacturing 8K displays"

Uhm... Sony and LG both sell 8K TV's, and LG has 8K OLED in the pipeline, and I'm pretty sure they make their own panels. Sony probably uses LG panels if their OLED line is any indication.
