Ha ha ha!!! If they can't spy with the antennas, they will spy with a TV.
Seriosly now, this is just marketing. We don't have 4G reception in every place we go and we want 5G devices now.
And what is with this 8 K? Do you have cable tv in 4 k? But you want 8K TV instead. Something new to brag about besides your over 1000$ phone that you use for calling and mesages. :)))))))

Seriously. Why. 8K 5G TV? It will also have AI powered by an NPU? It can do blockchain operations as well?
Plus I'd like to remind everyone that the 5G standard isn't ready yet. There's only the "phase 1" ready but the phase 2 is very important. The Phase 2 won't go official until late 2019. So everyone should ignore every single 5G device or ad since it's basically half 5G.
Then even if we had full 5G, there's no coverage. Then even if we had coverage, data prices are still ultra expensive. Then even if data was only 1/4th of the LTE data rates, that's not remotely enough to feed an 8K stream. And usually, people watch their TVs for longer than they should, which is counted in hours per day. This will be ultra expensive

I doubt Trump will let those come to his shores; or most of Europe for that matter; what with their 5G issues.

>up to 6GB for every minute of video
Daily reminder that 8K is a meme
And for that matter, 4K is a meme
