Someone posted on weibo that Dxo has xperia 1.
Photo score is high but video is not.
So , it is not going to be new leader.
Review may come when the device starts shipping.

It's funny how these manufacturers still use dark wallpaper to hide the notch. It's as if notch is a minus. Oh wait...

6T has 6.41 inch display with dimensions 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm
ONEPLUS 7 as per leaked spec 6.2 inch display with dimensions 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.1 mm
which means the new technology phone is going to have thicker bezels than 6T?

If this is true, why in the world is the non-pro version getting the bigger battery when the pro with the 2K, 90hz refresh rate needs more juice? Ugh...I know software is major with OnePlus but I'm better off getting the Red Magic 3 for that battery, front-facing stereo speakers, headphone jack with 32-bit audio playback, IP55 (at least it HAS one), and cooling solution (OnePlus has yet to announce one).

About $800 and still lacks IP rating ( due to pop up cam), stereo audio and slot SD.
This price is just the 4G version.
Till then phones like S10, S10+ and G8 will be cheaper than are now.
OnePlus charges always less than $600 still cant grow sales. Huawei flagships still sell much more, no matter the price.

OnePlus is making less and less exciting phones while the price is getting higher. This is not the way to go.
I had two 3t models and now 6 but I'm not sure I'll continue with OnePlus in the future... No headphone jack and gimmicky under screen fingerprint scanner is not what I would choose. Bigger battery, better memory menagement and an headphone jack with a decent DAC option under the hood would be interesting.
Don't care about wireless charging either as long as dash/warp charge is working.

Just add great stereo speakers and I'll be sold on this. Sure, it's not cheap, but that doesn't mean it's not a good phone

It may not have a headphone jack but the fact that OxygenOS is a Top 1 Android Skin, jampacked features and the FACT that it's a flatscreen means that I can finally settle with this phone.
Time to take a risk on hacking my Nokia 8 (2017) to use LineageOS.

The only thing that made OnePlus special before was the price for the performance you're getting. Now they're tripping that they are a premium brand and that's not a good way to go, basically they're now like everyone else.

IpsDisplay, 02 May 2019Weird for me to think this but this just shows that battery... moreThere has never been a "battery development". The batteries got bigger because phones got bigger and thicker. The capacity per mm^3 however, stayed pretty much the same. This is not like processor development where there are 40% improvements YoY. These improvements happen at maybe 2% per year, if so.
