This is how the tech industry works and definitely you aren't aware of it.

Great move to stay at top, when using just normal you can shoot way more close to lens than in full size camera and with Huawei supervise even closer. Blur and only part focus takes the most of pic though. That's why even 2mp is great, though it's good enough just for fun. With Tele and macro would get the same attention as normal fov, in full size cameras you change just lens, sensor stays...

At last, one company is now including a dedicated macro shooter, which makes the camera set up more versatile. I love to shoot in macro. But why only 2MP?

The end results must be 12mp or 16mp. This is definitely a different take than DSLR setup.

When you buy macro lenses for a DSLR, it's either a wide angle macro lens, a normal angle macro lens or a tele macro lens and usually they can focus on infinity and can be used for everything else. A DSLR macro lens doesn't mean that it is only for macro. It means that you can use it for everything AND macro.

2. Ultra wide lens
3. 10X optical lens
4. Atleast 5MP Macro shooter

f/1.4 and 30.7mm² sensor would capture the same amount of light as P30 Pro's 40mm² sensor + f/1.6 lens

That's not really important. A 2 megapixel sensor with 1.75 micrometer pixels only has a sensor size of 6mm², so it will be quite noisy in good light conditions.
