What i like abiut this is the large AMOLED screen, 5000 mAh Battery, and triple slots i.e. with dedicated Sd card slot..checks all squares for me.

Users actually cares about battery size because they believe that larger battery means longer screen time. If you be able to provide a top of the class battery life with smaller battery, people will surely buy them. why not?

Only a few hold th... moreAs apple and samsung has been dominating the flagship market for long the only company been able to break into is Huawei. Not Oneplus. Who knows about them other than GSMarena readers? virtually no one. Oneplus has been hyped by GSMarena tbh. there phones have great specs but lacks a lot of things and while you buy a phone for 300/350 bucks thats fine but for over 500 I dont think they have good chance. And with almost zero after sales service, no wonder they have very few sales in EU or USA/Canada.

People know Apple and Samsung well enough due to advertising and years of dominance. Oneplus seems to be pushing towards the flagship levels by slowly increasing prices whilst having excellent phones which allows trust to be built over years and get people to invest in their business.
Asus don't have that force and branding to make a flagship viable even if it's the best phone in the world.

How good is Asus when it c... moreAsus Zenfone 5z, bought it last year - everything about this phone is great, unless you have an AMOLED screen just beside this phone you will not see a difference, Audio is also good - Just saying, this is going to be my next phone as well, battery of 5k is mind blowing.

My wife has one, there was one small bugfix and nothing else since.

I've used 2 zenfone 3 and 2 zenfone 3 max and they're still working great up until now. The update is pretty regular. All four are running 8.1 (they're from more than 3 years ago,) and have constant stability updates.

How good is Asus when it c... moreFun fact : The Original Zenfones like Zenfone 3,4 and 5 always has faster updates even compared with flagship one like Zenfone 5z/Zenfone 4 Pro/Zenfone 3 Deluxe haha. But its comparable with other brands like Samsung for example.

How good is Asus when it c... moremy first try on Zenfone 5 Ze620kl, Software update was good, not always regular monthly security update , but its already receive android 9.0 pie since january 2019, the default os when its launch is 8.0, i heard that older zenfone 3, has been receive 2 major os ver upgrade from Marshmallow to Nougat & the last is oreo. i think they are commit for at least 2 android version for their midrange Zenfone (eg. zenfone 3, 5, or next 6)

Asus always release phones with decent specs but their phones tend to have below average performance comparing to others according to my experience.
