So so sad to see a once Android giant dying a slow death one market at a time. They clung to those huge bezels and silly exclusives for toooo long...they are now on the brink of going under.
They can rise again but they will have to pull off a OnePlus strategy. First start by making that One phone with top specs with multi-mode bands and price it reasonably for global release. It might be though these days with plenty of very good specced midrange and low priced Chinese phones.

Good - at least now we can be free from all these overprized shits being sold in the market, they never had the strategy nor commitment to provide good tech products to India and still wanted to dominate it when the dynamics are pretty different here.

Oh my God ive never seen such a terrible business plan, China is one of the biggest markets in the world and HTC wants to miss out on them! What kind of company retreats from a country just after being squashed by local giants? Who knows, their next smartphone might be a hit and it won't sell well because they aren't in China or India!
