        If u buy this phone u have to be blind....Sony is robbing people with a fake 4k screen....A real 4k screen is 3840 x 2160 pixels not hating on sony but they need to do a big change they are really robing people.....At least offer more internal storage and bigger bat and more cameras and ram and then charge 1k my note 9 has more ram and internal storage then the new sony are u seriouse a device that is almost a year old....6gb of ram is from 3 years ago and 64 or 128 internal storage is from 3 years ago and really robbing people for 1k sorry but samsung offers way better phones for value......no fake 4k screen and the 5g s10 brings 4 cameras in rear and 2 in front 45mah bat and 12gb of ram with all types off goodies........SONY IS DONE THEY NEED TO LEAVE THE SMARTPHONE MARKET.......

          Sony have a small but very loyal following, In the UK

            3*fov, ois, Zeiss, new alpha processing, best sensor for true colors.
            Not the most sensor packet phone, but should be the best for taking hi quality shots at the same 12mp, well to see samples here in comparison tool would help a lot...

              Only the die hard Sony fanboys will buy this phone, the general public will never have heard of this phone and the extremely tall ratio will scare some people away.

              Many people have bought the galaxy s10, huawie P30 and one plus, and here comes Sony selling their phone too late.

              Sony is gonna close down their phone division if they keep losing money. Soon they will just be providing sensors, not phones.

                          Looks like I'm going to start saving cash to buy this in August maybe. It's either this, either the Note 10.
                          So far I'm pretty disappointed with Samsung. Their updates service is so lazy and I have a unlocked version of the S8+, not even carrier locked, thus the price isn't justified at all for a high-end flagship.
                          There are 2 major drawbacks with Xperia 1 from my point of view:
                          - no 3.5mm jack (but I think I can live without it, eventually)
                          - the battery is quite small for that display size (but I know Sony and their software optimization is excellent)

                          Bottom line is that I'm in love with that tall display! And it doesn't have a NOtch!!!

                                Xvestoria, 14 May 2019sony still present in taiwanactually is china, hong kong and taiwan. but if you are in SEA, there is a company called TL communication which bring in the phone as unlocked set from hong kong and their price is competitive. TL communication sell that phone in malaysia and philippines and probably singapore too.

                                    Just a small correction to the artical: Bilka is Danish, but the currency is DKR (Danske kroner). SEK is Swedish ;)
