I'm more interested in the glass fibre reinforced plastic body around the back... But I guess everyone thinks all versions of plastic is cheap and low quality

Older generation XZ1 or XZ2 compact would have more to offer, this is not what compact series fans have been asking for, not even close

Sorry guys but imo this wouldn't cut it for global users anyway.
1) It's no XZ1 Compact OR XZ2 Compact in terms of specs.
2) It's no XZ1 Compact in terms of size. I'll tell you more - XZ2 Compact is no XZ1 Compact in terms of size (XA models grew up the same way over time). "Compact" my ***.

And btw XZ2 Compact is easy two day device unless you are gaming and YTing all the time.

Dude, stop pulling numbers out of thin air. 1800 mAh battery? Really? The bezels is why we are getting this mediocre 2700mAh capacity in 2019 from Sony? Here's a "compact" phone from 2015 with pretty much same bezels but with a bigger battery than what Sony is offering. https://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_m9-6891.php . It also had dual front facing speakers. The sad part is that some people will actually believe what you just said without any verification.

Anonymous, 16 May 2019Why is this the XZ4 Compact when there wasn't a XZ3 Compact?For a short time Sony updated the XZ line every 6 months but only updated the compact version once a year. The Xperia Ace looks almost exactly like the rumoured XZ4 Compact.

The Ace is not a "Compact". Sonny's Compact line always has the same specifications as their flagship devices, meaning if this were a true "Compact that never was" it would have an 855 in it, not the budget-friendly 630. If anything this is an Xperia 10 Compact.

400 euros???
Dont get me wrong Nubia 3 red magic Lenovo Z6 pro GT, Xiaomi K20, Mi 9 also cost 400 bucks maybe are bit bigger but offer tons of lot better features than this phone and are a lot more faster. 200 bucks would be fair price.
SD630 dont have 400 euros value no matter what.

Sony was cutting costs and skimping on battery. But Stamina Mode (TM) would help, it claimed.
