I expect more from xperia 1, long time samsung user and really hope that sony is doing a better job, esp. at camera. Looking at the video, switching between cameras seems extremely lagging. A bit disappointed.

Basically, any new Sony phone except for the Sony Xperia X Compact should support this mode."
Haters can cry an ocean .... Sony does not use cheap components like most chinese brands. Even L1 (2017) has USB C.
L3 has Gorilla 5, NFC, BT5.0 and USB C ...
By the way, even E5 is receiving May security patch ....

There is a d... moreExactly my point so why do it....Make no sense just like why 4k with a 33 bat why not a 5000 mah bat then use 120hz and 4k and why only 6gb of ram and why not at least 256 internal storage instead of 128 and then u can ask for $1000.00

Surely great phone, but new phones incoming now move to 64mp territory, there are certain things you can do only with hi res camera. For this alone should price go to 800.

You can say that the OP7P is more accessible, but the Xperia 1 isn't really for the mainstream consumers. This phone is made for those how work making real photography and videography and have the skills and knowledge to implement it in their workflow.
That's why it's sold through stores like B & H Photo
