Samsung unveils Galaxy S10+ Olympic Games Edition

Based on the Prism White model, it sports the Tokyo 2020 logo on the back. Also, it comes with customized Galaxy Buds.

    I really don't understand who would buy this..
    If it were a landing in the Moon or Mars edition I might understand, but the Olympics?? lmao
    Maybe if I were an athlete and participated, but other than that I fail to see a reason for buying it.
    Just like those silly Avengers editions. Pointless and without any wow factor whatsoever.

        As someone who's never heard of these before, these look pretty boring compared to the original Note London design. Yeah it's glass and not plastic but something a little flashier would've been nice (think sakura blossoms). Not full-on flag but not just white with some text on the back maybe. The S7 Edge accents, for example

What with the surprise? Every Olympics year the same. Keep expecting their future phone doing the same thing. They have been sponsoring since 1998 and the contract is till 2028.

                          Nice!! I like the color and the Olympics logo, Tokyo 2020, the locatio and the year(symmetrical) are nice.
                          Just if it only came with 12GB RAM, 1TB UFS 3.0 storage, a ceramic back(idk if they can still change the color etc though) and 5G capabilities!!

This has been happening with almost all consumer products for many many years - from cars to phones, from videogame consoles to TVs and cameras. Functionality isn't different, but the design is.

                              Great, Samsung is now joining OPPO and vivo in making random useless phones that are exactly the same as their original counterpart but more expensive and has a different design. Well done. I expect Apple to join soon as well.
