I bought Redmi K20 and here are genuine review.
1. First of all. It records only for 2 or three seconds with 960fps. Total video length does not go beyond 10 seconds. In which only 5-6 seconds are on slow motion. I feel this is cheating by Mi as they did not specify the limitation anywhere.
2. This is NOT A REAL 960fps but 120fps or 240fps converted to 960fps. You can notice the poor quality when you watch the video. You can convert your regular video to slow motion on PC also. So this is nothing but cheating again.

even my Mi 9 SE has 960fps, but it's actually 480 with every second frame interpolated so the quality is very shit sometimes. Let's hope they will add a 480fps mode

Anonymous, 20 May 2019Instead just switch your fan to the very low speed 😂Even at the lowest speed, my fan still rotates extremely fast
This 960fps means the individual blades of my fan will be very clear and visible as it moves

Anonymous, 20 May 2019$350 is unrealistic. There isn't a single SD855 phone selling be... moreThat would be retarded.
The company flagship can be had for around less than 450 dollars.

So a flagship killer definitely needs to deliver on the price.
Anything above 400 dollars will be considered unreasonable and not bring as much benefit as the original Poco.

How to shoot a great slow-mo with K20: Get a decent slow-mo camera, stick it to the back of K20, shoot whatever you like. Claim it was shot using K20 with special equipment.
If apple can do it, I don't see why others can't :p

It will probably have fake 960fps slow - mo like the realme 3 pro.

Shanti Dope, 20 May 2019Wow, I can finally see my electric fan's blades in slow motionInstead just switch your fan to the very low speed 😂

Such high speed frame recoding usually comes with really bad quality. Cool feature but you will be border after 1 hour of playing

NO IT WILL NOT !

Only sensors with stacked memory (like samsung or sony) can record 960 fps.

What other phones do is record video at slower fps and then use to processor to interpolate up to 960 fps. This is the same trick as the soup opera effect on TV and is nowhere near the quality of real 960 fps.

Anonymous, 20 May 2019Another fake 960fps. Record at 30 and playback slower only. Have you already tested it to affirm that? Or you're the typical liar with an imaginary crystal ball. Show us the link of the review.

Speaking of slow-mo, I'd like to remind you Nubia Red Magic 3 with ultra fake 1920fps slow-mo video recording, lol...

Wow, I can finally see my electric fan's blades in slow motion
