                Well, I am hoping that MediaTek can bring a mid level phone with 5G capabilities.

                And those who are fighting over SD and MT, I have only one thing to say - MT SOC chips are getting better so CPU prowess can be as good as SD albeit nowhere near SD flagship and upper-mid range chips. Where MT( and Exynos and Kirin) loses is their GPU prowess. Mali is still no match for Adreno. For gaming, it is always SD and Adreno that wins.

                Why I am saying this, because I have used both SD and MT phones.

                      I don't know what you have against Mediatek. I had few phones on that platform and the last two of them are still working strong for daily browsing,video and audio usage(Lenovo K3 Note and K4 note). I'm not using them as my daily drivers but i seen worse from low end Qualcomms from those days.

                        In any case is time for them and others to leave ARM architecture, create new designs and break ties with USA and allies ones, not only them, in general, all companies around the world for be independents as much as possible. You can't trust USA goverment decissions if you are success and you are not their underdog.
