the world is pretty much still dependent to the u.s. than china, or at least the developed countries are. china is still no match to the economy of the united states. i am not being biased here but even in the absence of foreign economic auditors (because china doesn't let its economy assesed by other countries), economists all over the world believes that china's economy is rather shrinking than expanding; evidence of this is the growing number of ghost cities they have and the number of major banks that have gone bankrupt in the last several years. there is also that fact that eventhough other leaders of developed countries do not like dt, alliance with the united states is still of utmost importance for them. simply, in your own terms- would you rather trust a country that has been secretive/sneaky in its trade, economic, and military practices?
all i am trying to say is that it would be really difficult for huawei to find an alternative to google play that their users outside of china will trust, so without a trusted app repository from the united states or its allies huawei is pretty much doomed.

Huawei even if you find a replacement for play story with same apps quality as play store and App Store of iOS then what about Soc 7nm sooner or later going to be history since 5nm already announced by TSMC and Samsung.
