We live in 2020. In my country Denmark it's not like this, here we all can go and live safe.
Only gangs and bikers killing each other. We don't have this totally paranoid way to think like US have. US is like a 3'rd world country in many ways, especially with the weapon thinking.
It's the only country in the world with so many school shooting etc. Feel so sorry and sad for a country where this is the normal.
We don't even need a spoon to protect us in Denmark, we don't even have the need to think about how to protect us self.... Try think about all this.

          So the US wants the rest of the world exclude Huawei as it is able to supply data to China.... does that mean the rest of the world should exclude Google and Apple as the US can also receive private information in the same way?

          And what about Nokia, Ericsson .... maybe every country needs to have their own exclusive companies so that inter-operability is never possible in an ever interactive world we live in.

          So much for Free Trade Agreements .... all these can be ditched too.

          Seems like double standards are quite welcome so long as the great USA is involved....

            The thing is they should stop blaming others for performing similar crimes.

            Who said that US is the King nation of this world? That it can decide for everyone?
            Even if Huawei is doing something related to data (there isn't a single proof by US Govt), they're doing something Google is doing already, with the Govt supporting them.

            Hell even PC world is ruined due to Windows 10! All our data is spied upon, and we're paying for it too via radiation and internet data costs and privacy invasion and huge batteries and all...

And last I checked Apple makes more profit per unit than any other smartphone company by a large margin. This whole thing is not only about spying and national security it's also about using Hooway as a bargaining chip in the ongoing US/China trade war. In the end Trump will win and get what he wants on behalf of the American people and the US.
