So how will huawei be able to devrlop all this alone and it will take them a lot of time to make os and doc and a even more to catch up with the performance of other alternatives.
They can't just ban US companies. If they do a lot of chinese will lose their jobs. And china is not able to create a new jobs for them

But there is a small issue that EU, and GB should also take in account, and that is that US is no better when we take a look at the espionage part. US has already been cought spying on it's closest alies in order to get the upper hand in economic negotiations... and those are the times they were cought. Both spy on their alies and enemies. All in all, in any case, without creating your own network without outside components puts you at risk. Todays alies are tomorrows enemies sadly...

          But on the other hand for me the biggest issue is if my phone has security and privacy issues.
          Its why when ever I buy a new phone I immediately wipe unlock the boot loader, install TWRP, wipe the whole phone clean and install a good custom Android ROM. Using VPN is good too.

Yes, facebook, google and like fall under jurisdiction of US courts, and are liable. But, over last 10 years, both have had major security scandals which involved numerous acts of ilegal activity, and niether has suffered any consequences. Both were given a proverbial slap on the rist by the court, and just continued on the same course. I'm not defending Huawei here, far from it, but having court jurisdiction means nothing if you can't enforce your rulings. And so far, simple treat from any major company of closing bussines in US makes politicians back away form pursuing it to the end for fear of loosing voters due to loss of revenue and jobs.

                    US companies will likely loose money have over fist.

                    A number of companies could go on the blacklist, who buy a lot of US parts and services. Last time something happened with CPU's, the Chinese had previously been happy to buy American CPU's, but after, it spurred massive investment in developing their own cpu industry quickly. I imagine this is going happen again with every google service, and maybe a completely new OS. This available for all Chinese phones sold world wide in competition to A droid and IOS, with mostly non American parts in the phones. The profit write down in affected parts of the tech industry could he half +.

                    Now, ARM has been caught up in this. Arm likely uses American patent licensing products. So, how wide will this spread and force the Chinese to develop their own alternatives? They could merely have banned Huawei sales to the US instead, and maybe direct hardware sales to the company, without including the OS. Maybe also leaving ARM free to trade.

                      If i were huawei i would cease all US hardware/software dependicies.
                      I would build my own SOC, my own OS and use homebuild hardware to produce my phones and show the middle finger to the other side of the world.

                      And since US doesn't liek china i would ban the manufacturing process of phones in china for other european or american brands.
                      I would love to see iphone go for 2000USD or even more. I wouldn't be affected, at all..
