This is a $100 all i need is dependable functioning smartphone segment

Octacore, 5,5" HD screen, 2/3gb ram, 32gb internal, 4000 mAh, decent for the price 13mp cam with 5 mp selfie, micro-sd expansion, and 3.5mm jack,
    all for $100.

This is priced under samsung m10. The real competitor would be RealMe C2.
Also, All three phone above didn't have fingerprint scanner as they know it doesn't matter much in this segment.

nice, a "compact" phone with decent spec, but still not compact when i holding it, rip little hand

Better go for Nokia 5.1 Plus.

Anonymous, 25 May 2019No it's nit because of miui update. If it was a software is... moreI'd like to agree with you it's the battery but no, IT IS NOT. I'm a lot more experienced with android phones than you think.

MIUI 10 rendered 3 of my Xiaomi phones INUTILE with super slow charging. It WAS INTENTIONAL. After the update, the 3 phones under developer options DISABLED changing USB configuration from 'MTP' (new default) to 'CHARGING' (previous default). This rendered charging to be very slow. Xiaomi may call it a MIUI 10 BUG but I know it's an intentional bug because my newer Xiaomi phones also had MIUI 10 but did not have the 'intentional BUG' . All my 3 Xiaomi phones had VERY SLOW charging after the update, you might as well throw them away.

That's PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE - XIAOMI STYLE.

Read the links I posted. It has happened not only to 3 of my Xiaomi phones but to other Xiaomi phone owners as well. Two of my Xiaomi phones had 4100mAh Li-Po (2 year old Redmi 4X's), one had 4850mAh Li-ion (3 year old Mi Max Prime). I had a Huawei Ascend Mate 7 that was older (4.5 years old) and also had 4100mAh Li-Po and the battery still charges fast enough (upwards of 2,000mA) despite age not like my 3 Xiaomi's which suddenly charged only at 200mA shortly after the MIUI 10 update.

Xiaomi - NEVER AGAIN! And to think I defended the brand several times in the past and even recommended Xiaomi phones to many
of my friends and had 7 Xiaomi phones/tablets in all in my household. Xiaomi - NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible touch screen sensitivity(I don't know if its cause of the software, hardware or both), while I'm scrolling, many times things open without intending to do that. Its a decent basic smartphone. It have ok-ish camera, works well for browsing, youtubing, or social media and light gaming, now with all-day 4000 mAh battery.

Usually, i recommend it to people needed new-ish smartphone under limited budget.
its for people who may used feature phone before or use early gen smartphone like 2 core/1gbram smartphone stuff who are looking for an upgrade so they could use social media reliably.

Anonymous, 25 May 2019No fingerprint sensor? Are they insane?I got the Motorola(Lenovo) Moto G6 Play for €120. It is the one with 2GB/16GB, Dual Sim, European model(SD 430) but the 1 with no NFC, 4000mAh battery, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, 5,7' IPS HD+ 18:9 flat screen(with gorilla glass), splash resistant, 15W fast charging, basic silicone case in the box, stock android 9.0.
The bad things for me are that even though it's stock android some times the phone rus smoothly but others lags heavily, every 8.0 software update made the performance worse. The first 9.0 update was OK but the 2nd ruined it again. Another bad thing is the terrible camera, it takes too long to take a photo, the quality bad especially in dark places, also I know it doesn't have OIS but this camere you have to have is as stable(HDR is off) as possible cause the images come pretty easily blurry. The fingerprint sensor is very inaccurate. The 9.0 introduced new features but removed/changed for the worst others, like the Dolby audio feature, in 8.0 you could turn it off and was pretty customizable, now you can't turn it off and has 3 presets. Now the sound from the front facing speaker even at the lowest, is pretty lound and it's annoying.
The divice has also pretty slow boot times, slow updates(this is common for cheap phones I guess) and when you have 1, it takes ages to install it.
Anyway if anyone was thinking of buying it, here is my mini review. It may only occurs to me but I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing and I don't have it overloaded with apps and files, it's just my spare phone.
*Even the G2 that I jad wasn't that laggy and had better camera(mostly faster but the quality was OK).

Love the simple fact that they brought back 4000 mAh to the Redmi [x]A series.
and on this price range, they don't care that much on fingerprint.
