grand plans...but this is just some geek's wet dream that is all.

Put it into perspective;

OUYA - failed
PS TV - failed
Steam TV - failed
Nvidia shield - barely existing
PS NOW - only usable since download for some of PS4 became available

Both Sony and Steam could not even do same network streaming very well. Where it worked, it kinda worked. It failed on many grounds especially coming to things like latency which is just going to happen no matter what.

This is like 10 years too early

I'll buy. I have the internet, but not the super expensive gaming pc. Looks good

Microsoft just announced 3500 games for their Xcloud, with 1900 in development.

It's no... moreI am not sure but the controller is not completely necessary i think, the controller is just an important toy for better latency(since it directly connects to wifi) but high speed broadband is necessary

LG Superfan, 25 May 2019You have to agree this project is pretty ambitious but in r... moreSoo how will it be for 100mbps??? Kinda asking for myself

That service probably wont be cheap too and if they restrict it to the gamepad only.
Where is no good connection or connection at all in that matter are usually places where people dont have money to buy this expensive toy anyways.

I love this ad, and I for one am super excited

But lets see how it goes

You have to agree this project is pretty ambitious but in real world I dont see it working out as in most parts of the world there is network speed of 20MB at most which is not even consistent and you would need atleast 1GBps for it to be enjoyable

Game Streaming can have advantages when:
                    - internet is free/cheap, and is 5G/Fibre fast
                    - possible increase resolution and visual quality
                    - for low CPU + high GPU games (MMO's, Car Racing, Narrative, Turn by Turn)

...but for anything fast-paced like Fighting games, First-person Shooter, and even some Mixed/Open-world games will not be viable. The latency just isn't there.

And where PS5/Xbox V will be competing against Gaming PC's, Google's Stadia will struggle to compete with a Base PS4/Xbox One. Heck, even the Nintendo Switch has a better chance and that thing is drowning in a sea of iOS and Android devices...and it all makes me more excited to see the GPD Win 3.

So Trump will control this platform as well? I feel so much unsafe now using Google platforms. Before it was like I should be using one platform but now what if that platform is not available to me because of the mad king in the west.

hope google dont fly too high cause they already lose some of their "wow" factors, they do apps, then turn down apps or services...this, probably will be one more.

Xbox and PS comunity are fixed, they dont go anywere even to try new things, they only see PS and Xbox in front of their own.

Even, who is gonna play 4K on mobile or via Wifi if the most part of the world the best speed we can have is under 30MB?! really, lag, high latency and so on will be the culprit.

"create titles that wouldn’t need to be optimized for running on lower-end hardware"
Wtf. Poor countries that won't support google stadia, we are officialy f**ked off

This sounds interesting pheraps but playing dark souls series for example, on that kind device would be pretty difficult i think.
Same for GTA games or simmilar ones.

                                >200ms delay
                                >20GB per hour for 4K streaming

mate I don't live in the US let alone gigabit internet
