They will back stronger than ever.

Can't compete with someone making better products at lower price? Tell your daddy, he'll make their life miserable with no evidence, let the media rub the whole thing under people's skin, and if they're still alive, prevent them from making their products alltogether. When all is said and done you'll be able to sell the same product for double the price, because all the money they've spent on advertising, you've virtually undone all of it with this free massage campaing.

    "Free market" for you.

Hopefully, within the negotiations of the deal, they actually discuss security concerns and fix issues with Huawei's devices AND services. On top of this, Huawei needs to declare itself as a company and distance itself away from the Chinese government (which would require a major shakeup)... just like how Apple does in USA, Samsung in SKorea, Sony in Japan etc etc.

If Huawei does not distance itself from its government AND does not rectify its security issues, then I hope the USA doesn't accept bribes and lift the sanction. Otherwise, this would do a lot more harm than good. Losing Huawei from the (international) marketplace isn't that bad, or I should rather say, keeping Huawei and allowing them to steal data on a world-wide scale would be worse.

With that said, Google and Facebook needs to be reigned in aswell, they clearly have been slipping up and not doing the people justice.
