    A) I said it would be compact on TODAY's standards. Look at how many phones were released recently with height of under 150mm. The answer is not many.
    B) I said it would be compact compared to other rugged phones. Look at today's rugged phones and compare them to this. It's just smaller, no argumentation need here. Also, just because your phone is 5" and has plastic back doesn't mean it's rugged. I just pointed out that the mentioned LG phones definitely don't count for 'rugged' phones just because they have mil-spec rating.

Just admit that you mistook a big phone for a small one for having a small battery, no need to go deeper in denial.

Not only that the only real 'ruggedness' test of it is the drop test (which by the way is done on a plywood instead of concrete, so it means even more of nothing), each company can adjust the specifications of the test to their likings, so it's really... Well, nothing.

It's a simple equeation really: 6.1" + glass back = no ruggedness. Can't defy physics.

I agree that it's still not as compact I'd personally like, but in world where manufacturers think 160mm tall phone is okay, we have to work with what we have.

Samsung better not f*ck up by making it too large... I'm actually excited about the 2,800 mAh battery because it kind of hints that it should be around the same size as last model, which would pretty decent on today's standards.

Also, one major question mark here - last Xcover model had BOTH (!!!!!) IP68 rating AND removable battery. Can Samsung deliver even this time around?

Xcover 4 was 146*73 mm, not exactly small.

Man Xcover 4 had a price around 300 euros and specs of a 100 eur phone.
Wonder how much this will cost and how the specs will be.
