I'm predicting the ban will be short-lived. Probably someone in the US government will come up saying, "oops" and the ban goes down. With ZTE, it at least got to deal with the US. Huawei's ban is bigger, but with bigger detrimental effects, and pretty soon, someone's got to admit the oops that it is.
Besides, Huawei was attacked more than Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and other such brands because it has infrastructure equipment in the networks, such as relay stations in between providers and consumers. For example, the modem for my Globe account in the Philippines is Huawei. So I wonder if the US also has that much Huawei infrastructure, and if they're going to ban that, how are they going to replace all that equipment?

It would be great that China make offer to the US Companies to shift their business and manufacture factory to China. Provided lesser tax and better business environment and healthy competition.
Would those US Companies dare to take the offer?
