They literally buy displays off Samsung too,
they interviewd Apple employees for possible job prospects and all they did was interrogate them about Apples future tech so they knew about Apples plans and they didnt hire any of the people they interviewed.

Anonymous, 27 May 2019Samsung also copied the Triple camera set up that the P20 P... moreAnd if they didnt do that chinese/huawei fanboys like you would all be saying Samsung and others are too slow.

And now they are they copycats

Cant win with fanboy logic and mentality.

The best action Mr. Ren can do is, stop relying on the US companies for TALKS and make an arrangement to MEET with President Xi and President Trump TOGETHER and work out a deal that satisfys the Trump administration.

The American companies are under US law and ALL the talking and sympathy that they have for Huawei is not going to push ANY of them to violate USs law.

Whackcar, 27 May 2019Last i remember, Samsung "copied" Huawei's Reverse Wireless... moreSamsung also copied the Triple camera set up that the P20 Pro held. They're also finally trying to catch up to faster charging speeds. They've also never even had a Night Mode on their camera software until Google and Huawei flexed their ones.

Respect to Huawei's CEO for these well thought out answers. I can't imagine Trump being able to compose and articulate suich statements in these clear and sensible manners.

Huawei fans or supporters need not to worry. With the might and technology of Huawei and the whole China are standing behind it's smartphones. You will probably not have Google OS anymore but with out a doubt you'll have Huawei OS. It will be made by Chinese tech with all Chinese services readily available. Unite with china!

Anonymous, 27 May 2019You mean the most copycat tech giant lol.Last i remember, Samsung "copied" Huawei's Reverse Wireless Charging feature. Samsung is currently working hard on "copying" that Periscope Telephoto camera as well. Maybe they'll
"copy" that RYYB sensor too while they're at it.

Get real buddy. Times have changed. Huawei is the one innovating these days. The old leaders are lagging behind.

The Good Shepherd, 27 May 2019Just ONE QUESTION! who owns Huawei? It's not the founder,... more1% shareholder aka chairman and 99% China government that’s what it came to know lately don’t know is it true of false?!.

                        Just ONE QUESTION!
                        who owns Huawei?
It's not the founder, Huawei has no shareholders, definitely not the employees (as they once claimed ). Therefore Huawei will not fall since they are backed by the Chinese state with Ca$h and and advanced IP. You better believe the CEO.

Well, at least he has his head screwed on. In reality there's a slim chance the ban will actually matter too much in the end, Huawei already aren't selling on the NA continent and they can always find a supplier for processors etc alongside developing their own.

I know it isn't. Looking forward to that settlement taking place soon. The most ambitious smartphone brand deserves to stay relevant!
