redmi, 29 May 2019I completely lost my interest in new phones because they're... moreReading latest tech articles, commenting on it too. Yeah, you telling me you not even slightly interested? You won't be here if you have no interest. Or just interested in bashing big phones. Fyi, phone like S10e has pretty much same dimension as your Redmi 4X. Just 3mm taller but narrower and thinner. All that yet still getting a screen as big as 5.8inch compare to your tiny 5inch.

I completely lost my interest in new phones because they're too big. Still using compact 5 inch Redmi 4X, still great battery life, still normal 16:9 aspect ratio, performance good enough for simple use. When I need bigger screen I use my S5e tablet, when I need camera I use my Fujifilm X-T30 camera. Even budget phones from 2017 are not laggy, there's really no need to upgrade for most people especially if you already have a good dslr or mirrorless and/or a tablet.

no, 29 May 2019This is strange , Xiaomi was ahead of Oppo and Vivo but now... moreThat's because these stats are made up. Samsung already said publicly that they shipped more units than this report says, so I already know it's wrong. There's also no way Huawei grew their share so dramatically, people are very gullible if they believe they did. I now realise they increased the numbers to take into account the current ban BS, which will lower the numbers. Most stats are made up.

This is strange , Xiaomi was ahead of Oppo and Vivo but now disappeared.
Few weeks ago, IDC and Counterpoint released their reports that said that Huawei's growth was 50% not 44% as Gartner says.
          There's something weird.

So, practically, BBK Electronics may be world #2 now, especially with the problems at Huawei.
