      I never bought a earphones/headphones above $25 and am always satisfied with the Music. Sometimes I wonder how I will feel the music when using these $100+ earphones.

You seem to forget that Bose is yet another overrated brand in the vein of Beats by Dr. Dre - overpriced, overrated, heavily marketed audio products with no actual specifications to back them up. Sony, on the other hand, has experience and heritage in audio.

                don't seem to support aptX (HD) or LDAC, which immediately makes them inferior to Sony's offering, imo. yes, it is noticable. unless your playback device doesn't support those codecs either, of course

                  NipponFan, 29 May 2019Sony headphones are better. Sony really makes some of the very best headphones regardless of price range.
                  From the lowest end MDR-ZX110s to the midrange XB550s/XB650s to the higher end XB950s and 1000XM3s, they offer amazing sound quality, design and build quality.
                  Japanese always make quality products, after all. Sony, Pioneer, Denon, etc - amazing audio companies.
