means makes for fone memory completly empty
1st. go to keypad on home sreen then dial

ur fone will make appears a msg
something like :
JUST WAIT WHILE YOUR PHONE IS RESEETING
ok
then u will try
and plz tell me how to update 1. to 2. with kies

manu, 09 Oct 2012bada friends..pls go through ur near samsung service center... moreI have Samsung wave S8500 model phone on bada 1.0 and i want to upgrade it to 2.0 but the service center told that it is a risk, phone can go dead any chance while migration or after migration. So whether migration is possible via samsung kies from 1.0 to 2.0. What do you think? I hope my phone will not go dead in bada 2.0.During purchase it is said that this phone supports 1.2 but now 2.0 is available so shall i upgrade or not to 2.0 and HOW?

but there is a msg appear
"YOUR DEVICE DOES NOT SUPPORT SOFTWARE UPGRADING VIA KIES"
my current firmware is: S8500REJF2/S8500YOGJF2(YOG)

whenever I try to upgrade my firmware as samsung kies informs me. after all the preparation needed ready,it gives me a msg saying the upgrade can't be completed. Battery low, need extra memory all fake reasons. i dunno why i can't upgrade my firmware??!! can someone help me with this?

devastated, 07 May 2012why i didnt get update when i use kies...it state the lates... moreyour not the only one i get same message you have the latest version but cant get bada2.0 still on 1.2 great phone but were missing out

I owned a Samsung S8500GT. I just updated the OS from Bada 1.0 to 2.0. The update took around 4 hours to complete.
I used the latest version of Kies available and everything happened smoothly.
Downloading of Kies --> Setup --> Download of necessary files (Around 150MB at 50Kbps, max time consumed in this step) -->Automatic Mobile data backup (Do not remove the MMC)--> Auto Flash of new OS --> Restore old data.
Overall, I am very happy with the new Bada 2.0 OS. The only negative feature what I could notice was there is no TrackID (Music Recognition) feature available in 2.0. But, considering the other improvements, it is recommended to go for the update.
