Soft power (through culture, financial, etc) and the good ol' style hard power. What the US is doing is exerting their soft power with backup from their military..because let's face it; if they did not have the strongest military in the world, would you listen?
Also the US is checking other people is because they are already on top of food chain; hardly a comparison you can make to Nazi Germany who was anything but top of food chain (if anything post WW1 Germany was not a very good place). As for Hitler's 'power grab' it was realistically quick and fast way to put Germany back on the map. By invaiding other countries and putting war debt on them, rather than Germany (which would have suffered from massive inflation if it did not continue its path down the WW2 and would have collapsed under its own national debt). Not saying it wasn't a di*ck move...but hey, neither is USA for trying so hard (in a wrong way) to hold its power.
As for your other comment, yeah China and its history is brutal. Then again, China existing for millennia in one form or another would build up sh*t. Both countries are pretty appalling when you look at them in detail...difference is US keeps them hidden and shush about them (e.g. Tuskegee syphilis experiment, etc), whereas China is still ongoing (Tibet, Falun gong, human organ harvesting, etc)

SD cards ARE NOT RELIABLE and phones are far better without them if not for the sake of storing data in more reliable media ( internal memory), at least removing them will save you some space and battery life too .

Huawei are being used as trade bait in the us - china trade war. think of it this way, you take one of the biggest money making companies in china, and you essentially cut off its supply chain and prevent them from functioning. its a huge company that brings in billions in revenue, so you think of how much tax they pay to the Chinese government.
plus all of the components that are shipped, the cost of trade between countries. its a huge amount of money. so basically what is happening:
US are wanting it their way, when they get that they will lift the trade ban. you are correct in your assumptions, but its deeper than just 1 American company wanting something. not slagging off America, you have to realise this will affect other companies such as google, Panasonic, QUALCOMM (which are all American) and negatively affect the US market to.
things like this happen all the time, just not usually to this scale, or this much publicity.

As for being used by the one company, it's not Huawei's fault nubia, OnePlus, and Xiaomi are stupid enough to have dual SIM and not give the consumers the option to expand the memory without changing their form factor for the consumer never uses that second SIM...
