They set the bar for what Google should add to future "vanilla" updates. People call it bloat for 2-3 years until they rejoice in finally getting the Samsung features built-in to Android.
That long list of hardware things you say Samsung copies... Samsung is THE manufacturer for most of those parts. Literally being the company making those features possible.

Sony isnt one of the companies who w... moreThat is an extreme niche, considering the only alternative in the particular price range is the Bose, which also happens to be one of those brands not paying particularly much attention to fine-tuning the sound.
I'm not saying either sounds bad. They used to be amongst the best. Time has not been kind, though. With brands like Sennheiser, Audeze, Beyerdynamics and the likes leaving them eons behind regarding true sound fidelity.

Sony should be pioneer in smartphone since it has its own sound division, camera division, screen division but it just didn't which is a disappointment year after year not to mention a side fingerprint scanner while other premium is rocking in screen. Kinda sad for such a legacy company
