Huawei sales in India still strong despite uncertain future

But to be exact i like huawei more than other more expensive brands because here in Slovakia with average salary of 600 euros a month people rather buy huawei or xiaomi than Iphone or Samsung which for a much higher price offers equal specs as Huawei or xiaomi phone.

I run a phone shop here in Slovakia in central europe with 38 stores around the country and i can say Huawei is selling as usual.
This stupid ban had no effect on Huawei sales.
Even i would offer huawei phone to my customers rather than offer them apple or Samsung just to support Huawei in these bad times.
They need all we can give them.

South Asia is a big enough market for brands to start a separate app store outside of Google's control. Imagine Indian app developers don't have to jump through all the Google hoops to get their app launched.

Indians generally appreciates privacy concerns and very discrete about security(since Western tools such as Microsoft OS, Amazon Alexa, Apple iOS, Google etc spy everyone which they know very clearly). Only differentiating factors is value for money with affordable compromises...they don't buy the story that "Our OS is most secured in the world, no one can breach our devices, we are very much concerned about privacy of our consumers" sort of PR campaign, they very clearly know all these are blatant lies....Huawei may not be an angel but so are everyone....

If someone's plan is to unlock boot loader and run custom lineage os then remember most of banking apps like google pay will not work

that is because in india nobody knows that huawei is screwed, and what are the implications if andriod is license is cancelled and the ones that are selling will never give that infrormation to the customer.....
