This is why Samsung (or Nokia, Huawai) should continue the development of their own smart phone software, like Tizen, or something else for that matter. Americans cannot be trusted and even if they won't, they are being forced by the government, better trump.

Lol what they can do now as they have already spend their money on it .
Its same like lumia users which still are using lumia phones as they are still using it.
But nokia is nokia lumia phones will last lomg but same i cant say about huawei or honor phones.

For Huawei to beat Samsung, they need not get into the feature phone segment as Samsung don't make this any more. Having captured the market share to a relatively huge extent in a short period of time clearly shows where Huawei wants to be at No 1.
No offense to Samsung. They are good to. But difference is that Huawei wants to be No 1 and will go behind that in all angles.

Huawei is a good company no doubt... but it will never beat Samsung. Samsung started in 1938. It's the big Daddy of all tech companies. It has a loyal fan Base because it has a long history. All these start up companies that keep making cheap phones think they can beat Samsung they must be mistaken. Samsung has resources and money. 200 billion revenue as of 2017 records. They can buy any start up tech company they want. Huawei started in 1987 it's a baby.they are good at telecommunications equipment that's all. Beating Samsung will take so much work. Huawei will have to start making feature phones as well if they want to beat Samsung. If they keep relying on p series phones they will be bluffing.
