Hello friends. Do not make a mistake. How a phone with such hardware is so cheap. No-quality display, no memory card, bad sound quality, and much more that you'll find later. Only Samsung, Apple and LG are reputable brands in terms of manufacturing quality.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2019Or you can slap a official custom ROM and you're good to goNah on my old era of owning Sony Ericsson & Z series yes its fun to squeeze your phone into the maximum potential by root & experimental with various of kernel & custom rom.
But nowadays flagship phones are became extremely well with most of the features baked in already & performance has no issue. I dont have the feel to root & unlock bootloader anymore. Maybe i'm getting too old & busy with life lol.

And most of the profit is coming in from the ads that you can turn off and that is mostly only in India and China. Global version dont have ads. Well at least my Xiaomi phone dont have for Europe region and i have not turned anything off. When Xiaomi have proved it's self for global market and is in top 3 in the world then the prices will start to rise for sure.

This makes me suspicious, flagship specs at midrange price.For example: in case of s10, his parts alone cost 400$, not to mention assembly, shipping,accesories, ads, seller profit,samsung profit....
Then how is this at only 360$, this is sooo weird, unless this phone is an adware device.

No surprises. Its a crazy specced phone for a bargain price. 8gb ram + 256gb for $400. I dont mind if its not having micro sd slot. Slap on CPL launcher + GCAM mode, its a winner.
Love the Black Carbon Fiber version. Not a fan of that fancy red & blue.

Would've been 200,001 if it wasn't for the phablet dimensions (combined with glass back)... Seriously if there's one thing I trully hate about phone is when you can't use it with one hand.
Other than that, the phone is nearly perfect for the price... Redmi (almost) nailed it again.
