        manufacturer intentionally hold back technology like this so they can over something new every year or so. They could have made it like that before the notch/teardrop design but then they'd miss opportunities to sell more devices.

          Xiaomi under pressure as usual. Need to show competitor they got something too. Always teasing their tech. What happened to their foldable, no more follow up. Just teasing. I hope this no notch camera is real and not just teasing and no follow up for months. Finger cross.

                  Yep. This is what I was waiting for since no one had the courage to just eliminate the front camera. Only 12 year old girls and pedofiles use selfie cam. Those bezels look pretty fat though, but it should be a lot thinner than the pop up camera ones and they can seal it to make it waterproof.

                      The next generation of smartphones are arriving soon. This tech is better than notches, holes, pop-ups & whatever else is going on these days. Can't wait to see it in person.
