              You can mount a better solution for a lot less price. But it was expected as Apple is the professional greedy. So you start learning it paying them all the extra money and then charging your clients 2x more for compensate and become an Apple professional too.

                imparanoic, 04 Jun 2019for USD5000, you expect OLED, but yeah, apple is always like thatI hope that you are joking. This is targeted toward professionals. OLED doesnt have stable colours, and it is also aging. From my point of view making OLED panel for professionals would be quite idiotic.

                                  That's a super expensive Cheese grater

                                    You know what, Silicon Graphics PCs around the 90's costs close to $250,000 in today's money, but they're responsible for the absolute bleeding edge 3D graphics that gave birth to the Nintendo 64 and its games.

                                    But a maxed out Mac Pro at $50,000 does barely anything the SGI PCs were capable of at that same price

                                      Chi Kalla, 04 Jun 2019Microsoft Surface Studio is far ahead..!!I kinda disagree. And I'm not a fangirl of apple. ^^;
                                      The Surface Studio can be configured up to 32 GB of RAM. And use either i5 or i7. Let's say we went all nuts and bought the most powerful version. This barely tickles this PC. You'll use a 4 core i7-7820HQ and the GTX1070 with 2TB SSD in the MSS2...
                                      THIS one can reach a whopping 28 Cores Xeon E7 CPU, A whopping 1536GB (or 1.5 TB) Of RAM, 4 GPUs of Radeon X580pro (these are equivalent to 1070Ti. So imagine having 4 of these) and 4 Terabytes of storage using NVMe 4th gen's technology.

                                      Wake up!!! This is a monster. Not some weak PC. (And you can run windows on it.)

                                        This is really just to let consumers know what Pixar will be working with to make their films.
