What is so advance on this phone? For me looks like the old one refresh :( sad sad They can introduce S3 and after that S2 will be the most affordable :))) ha ha ha.

Why is Samsung releasing every phone with the same boring design. Been using a Samsung Galaxy S2 for quite a few months and already bored with the design and also most of my collegues have purchased some or the other Samsung and all have the same design. My S2 does not even stand out. Samsung needs to create better designs. Most consumers (tech geeks being exception) give a damn what specs are inside and prefer better designs. Shall upgrade to the Nokia Lumia 900/910 when it launches in UK.

however, my GS2 doesnot have any problem... neither does my 3 other close mates who work with me...
more importantly, what you are referring is AMOLED plus screen... i also own a SGS .. never had any problem with the screen..
refer to your original comment ... i dont think its justified for you to let down all the AMOLED screens.. just because your AMOLED PLUS Screen is malfunctioning...its proved and agreed that AMOLED has its own set of advantages over LCD... if LCD suits you, good for you.

well it seems samsung wants us to not buy the galaxy s because it does not have ICS, but it launches another galaxy with similar specs but with ICS, cleary its only to sell the new product that doesn t have nothing new in terms of hardware... shame on you samsung!

I am confused with all these Samsung mobiles being released. I went to the local Samsung shop, great presentation, but too many mobiles with little difference between them, and with a new mobile being released every week or so. Even very similar prices. Can someone please provide a simple comparison sheet for them all. Just buying on price is now not good enough.

AnonD-38309, 30 Jan 2012My Galaxy S2 had the whats so called Yellow screen of death... morebro..just upgrade ur android firmware to official 2.3.6 gingerbread via kies or manually..i did the same & my dead-yellow pixel problem have disappeared now..& the battery backup is much much better now..plus y u keep fone on max brightness for a long tym well there's already notified on the "brightness" window abt that overheating stuff..plus just keep the brightness level on 25% & u are good to go on indoors as well as outdoors..& before yelling up abt something..just try to tweak it up 1st & if it doesnt works..then yell..:\

@Ramy ramz69: bro u should not say such childish thing crying abt ur xperia arc no doubt arc is a great fne but gs2 is a worldwide acclaimed best smartphone till date noone can deny that we r all android ppl we should fight with each other as the enemy gets happy (roten iphone) i also have a gs2 but never heard and saw this problem although in manufcturing in different countries some units might create problems but the name gs2 is the "KING OF SMARTPHONES"
