Finally, an updated version of galaxy R is released. I expect the price will be around 25k. (20k+Amoled+Gorilla)

Other than that, when I set the brightness level to max the phone overheats and sets it back to medium.
Also, my Xperia Arc is brighter than my S2 even though it's a Super LCD screen.
OLED works great with 5+ inches like the Galaxy Note, but below that it's just normal.

768MB RAM ! SGR have 1GB RAM is Sammy going backward with newer phone ? 1500 mah Battery powering 4" screen another half day battery life phone, Pathetic !

The word is that this is scheduled to make an appearance at Mobile World Congress next month over the Galaxy S3 and this will be Samsung's flagship showing for it's smartphone division this year, the star of the show for Samsung at the congress will no doubt be the Tab 11.6. To be honest, this is a sensibly specced phone that will bring in the sales much like the Ace did if it is reasonably priced, it will give Ace users who are due to upgrade a taste of the Original Galaxy S offering.
The GS3 is being delayed because Samsung are debating whether to use the more efficient Exynos 5250 A15 chip over the older A9 Quad Core offering, it seems the latter is market ready but the Samsung Tab 11.6 @ Mobile world Congress will preview the next generation GS3 thus why Sammy aren't willing to show off the S3 just yet as they wouldn't want thier flagship tablet and superphone competing with each other.

What the heck is Samsung upto ?
-First a limited release of Galaxy R only in some countries which is much more capable than this model only downside being it doesn't have an AMOLED display.
-But its SC LCD is better & bigger, when it comes to display shades of whites or bright colours it excels but has a comparatively lower ability to display blacks. Amoled lags behind in whites but excels in displaying blacks.
-S Advance is just samsung's attempt to make S Plus up to date, nothing else. Its a long shot from beating Galaxy R & S2 which are more capable phones. :)

So annoying that the high end smart phones are all 4"+ screen size.
If you want to get a sensible sized smart phone you've got to take a big dip in features. The Galaxy Ace was the same, decent sized screen, but less features than the Galaxy S2.

For some one who cannot afford SGS2 now have 2 options galaxy R or S Advance.
I request samsung to release this phone with SGS2 ROM as most of the specs seem similar, I may be wrong. but this will help both the users and the developers too. and i am sure it will grab more market. i shall surely consider buying this phone if SGS3 is delayed

I don't like the looks on this phone, looks ugly. SGS 2 has better looks.
I think I'll stick with huawei honor until next xmas.

Again, this phone is extremely useless. Galaxy-R is better and going to get ICS hopefully before this one is released and will ofcourse be cheaper. Actually, LCD compared to AMOLED has much less problems so...
