A bit underwhelming. Only a few countries, only a few games. And only a couple of those games (metro and bg3) draw attention.
I like the idea, it would let people play Windows exclusives like Kenshi without Bootcamp and Windows. I'm disappointed with the implementation.

      2. Scroll down Until you see the Stadia Pro vs Stadia Base difference.
      3. Look at the point list.
      4. Saw Destiny 2? ..And the word "regularly"?

"tetris" "candy crush" no where to be seen there, or any of the 31 titles. And Destiny 2 despite its low hype now, was launch like a AAA game standard by activation.

To me that's renting. Just saying. I have no comments about how you treat your games thou and your gaming preference..

no thanks, pc master race and no to DRM all the way!

Trump Fan 1980, 07 Jun 2019 Presently, 4K gaming is still it's infancy. Still, I am lo... moreWhy?

Even if you are gaming on a 42" monitor, on your desk, there no benefit over 4K unless you're sitting closer than 79cm / 31" / 2.58 feet from the screen. Who would sit that close to a 42"?

If instead gaming on a smaller 32" gaming monitor the limit is shifted to 61cm / 24" / 2 feet. Not comfy.

And these limits are for static images, for moving images the limit is even higher as our eyes can't keep up.

For home use, 65" TVs is still quite popular for living rooms, although increasingly more are opting for 75" and next step for many will be 82". Speaking of 75", that's actually the size where the point of higher resolution that FHD kicks in, it's not really there at 65" and normal viewing distance.

Even a 82" TV won't have any benefit of 8K over 4K unless you sit closer than 1.55m / 61" / 5,1 feet. That would strain both your eyes and neck.

8K is essentially only useful for cinema. It serves no purpose for home use other than a higher number in marketing. Even a home cinema with projector and a 150" canvas requires you to sit closer than 2.82m / 9.25 feet. I'm sure that there is someone who does do that though, probably the same one who wants the front row at the cinema xD

Whilst your neighbor can still play offline games of his/her xbox, playstaion or Nintendo and enjoy up to 4K blu-rays :-)

Depending on location, Internet drop outs can be quite regular. Thankfully the Internet here is very stable, but it can happen and if it does I'm glad I have by BD's and consoles :-)

If I can play latest civilization series / NFS / GTA for just premium service ($9.99/mo) I would jump in. Otherwise no. I ain't pay $60-$100 for a game locked on cloud when Google tend to discontinue Alot of their unsuccessful services.

With physical copy, at least I can resell them after getting bored or give it to family members. Kids prefer used ps4 with 20 games than new one with just one game installed anyway.

I guess i'll wait for ps5 or something.

From cd to digital to streaming service.

Sure there will be complains and hates, mainly from the modding and pirated communities.

This way is able to sustain gaming companies, and they will adopt it like flies.

This is cool but I'm NOT ready for cloud gaming yet. I'm waiting for the Sony PlayStation 5. I'm old school. Never got into PC gaming. Been a console user since I was 8-years-old back in 1988.

I have a bunch of games on my PS3, PS4, PSP, and PS Vita I haven't even finished yet. To kill time, I play Super Mario Kart or whatever NES/Genesis/SNES emulator on my hacked PSP. And killing time is like 10-15 minutes of my day. No real time for current gen gaming. But I love how fast the PS5 will be.

This is actually not that bad. For those who complains, honestly this is for peoples who just want to play game but don't want to deal with patches, updates, or having an expensive pc for gaming. You just need controller, chrome cast, internet and you just good to go.

Though I do understand that this is rather expensive, you need to pay for the service + buy te also. I would have been good if it is like PS online or something. Not to mention this will burn through your data usage like nothing on top of your normal usage and streaming stuff.

Price wise its good. Compared to previous streaming game services.
Pay zero for 1080p n game seperately.

No software to install other then chrome is a good deal.

They better get iOS version, if Apple permits.. most will work fine in 1080p version.
And launch it on all android phones, not just pixels.
