Not good, 10 Jun 2019Sorry i do not think iPadOS is any good. It's a weak implem... morePretty ambitious. Let's settle for System 9 with Internet Explorer 5. At least you can run ActiveX and use IE websites, which is actually a big plus for enterprises stuck with Windows XP/7 (XP Mode).

Android updates are not nearly as important as iOS, because almost everything gets updated directly through PS.

However i do have a small hope, since they break off from iOS, hopefully it will grow into more desktop like in the future. Call me again when its iPadOS 50? I might be old by then.. but hopefully it will work like OS X 10.0? ahh good old yr 2000.

The worse of this keynote. 1k for a display stand. $1000. FAIL marketing. FAIL. They should have release as $6000 / $7000 for the XD display, include the stand. But NOooo... some dumb person disconnected from reality decided to drop $1k for the stand separate... Now they know the profit margin of the display itself... ROFL..

1. Widgets allowed on main launchers. But what about control center?

Those thinking that iPad 13 is not a solid upgrade. Have you ever touched ads in your life? Those glorified hulky iphones were nothing to speak off despite their glowing reviews. IPad OS makes them useful for the first time in 10 years and you think the update was nothing to speak off? External device support, full file system control, basically the opening to pro software... You think it was nothing to speak off?
This update is the start of the end of the traditional laptops, which are with us since the late 80s... You think disrupting a 30 year cycle is nothing to speak off?
This upgrade will be remembered for decades, and you fanboys still failed to identify its importance. 30% is a bit too much of a percentage of people to be so pathetically I'll informed... Goddarn...

They forgot the biggest feature of it. Desktop class browser!
Safari on iPad will be the same as Safari on MacOS and the ability to transfer files from USB sticks and put them in zip files. All through the native OS.

As for iPhones I think iOS 13 is a great solid upgrade. Faster phones, better battery management (look up apple's way of smart charging your phone by keeping it at 80% for the most part of the night and charge it completely an hour before you wake up), swipe keyboard without the need of a third party app, you can literally use the phone now without touching it. See Soldierknowsbest video. Extremely useful when driving or after an injury.
Not sure why Android users comment here or why they even vote?
What do you want from a new OS update? More features or more stability and performance? Plus at least on iOS people get updates!

It is the last update for my 6s.
Am happy that it will be getting new ui in some apps and dark mode.
But still what will be holding back is the removal of 3d touch.
I can't live without 3d touch. That's the reason why I didn't upgraded to Xr.

Its purposed to target as many consumer as possible, as non-Pro MacBook's target would be. Developers would still use barebones, PC, and high end laptop to work.

iPadOS will never eliminate the MacBook because macOS is still way more functional than iOS.
As for iOS13, I don't care. I will never buy another iPhone ever again. They're junk like Samsung, LG, and most Chinese are to me. I'm loyal to one brand and that's Google. Spyware galore. We still use them.
