After reading about multiple data leak & app hacking stories in last 2-3 years, I had shifted from Facebook & WhatsApp to Twitter and Telegram 6 months back. I won't go back to them even if they pay me to use their apps.

Samath N8 808 owner, 12 Jun 2019As if they already upload very less info. WTF! I even se... moreSure that insignificant % of the billions they earn with the private data of people. A few pennies? Perhaps a few dollars in a long time? It's so funny, "data will not reach third parties", that is not true because if not directly, indirectly you'll end harassed by ads of all kinds due to the data they have collected from you. Even receiving calls by "casuality" offering products. Something very common today due to that.

The only Faceberg app I use is Whatsapp and that's only because every single person in my country use it so I don't feel isolated from the outside world.

              >data will not reach third parties.

              DOUBT!!

So, traking behind users back was not enough, they need more.

So, if understand correctly, until now they were tracking user's data for free and making billions out of it?

As if they already upload very less info. WTF!

I even see friend suggestions of people I meet casually for 5 to 10 minutes... Can you imagine?
And this is when I've NOT INSTALLED Facebook, but use it in mobile browser only, that too Firefox with no cookies and ad tracking.

Anyhow, what is the money they're paying us?

                          Another scam.
