Even Huawei knows not to put it on their flagship device. They rather use Android.

Keep their crappy OS for their crappy midrangers.

      FACTS!

abigfanoftechs, 13 Jun 2019Which hardware manufacturer(s) is backing it? So far, no one but they're super new and still polishing everything. With the amount of older phones that can be side-loaded with this OS, there are a lot of folks still testing it. It's super close to version 1.0 and I am excited for it.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2019Well judging by the development speed it's slightly modifie... moreThat is not true. At least research a bit before affirm things. If you personalize the search in your brownser to the year 2012 you'll find the news about the development of the HongMeng operating system, around march of that year there was already a lot of news about it. But they have being silently developing it for at least 7 years or more.

BigDisplay, 13 Jun 2019Who cares of Android and especially US doohhhhNo one believed china can be global leader..the more us pushes the greater and stronger it is becoming.. huawai will regain no.2 position in a year...but what is going to happen to android is an million dollar question...like how samsung killed nokia, Facebook killed orkut, whatsapp killed sms.
Huawei will kill android first then microsoft bcoz of unified operating system with office free..
In 3 years it will enter own chip production to kill arm... i think banning huawai is an mistake usa has done after Vietnam's war.

Yes,yes,yo, 13 Jun 2019Such technological giant like Microsoft could't bring apps ... moreThe difference with this is China will have a vested interest in supporting this, especially with the way the US is acting toward them now. Any major Chinese app will be supporting this and the average user there will probably be fine with using Huawei's app store.

It will surely be a setback internationally but if push comes to shove, Huawei only really needs China and a bit of Asia. It's more the international consumers who might lose out.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2019ARK based on Android Lol.That would be a shame for Google. That a competitor improves to own system and makes it 60% faster.

Luckily it is not like that, and it will not depend on Android anymore outside the Apple world. More options to choose and try. More freedom and less monopoly.

                                        Go Huawei, make Trump cry.
