    The world is waiting for new OS in new outlook. I'm interested very much testing their operating.

              I have leaved on this earth knowing for a fact that:

              1 - Hackers exist and my personal information is there on the internet and can be fraudulently used.
              2 - Most of these hackers are from the First World Countries and not Third World Countries
              3 - Third World Countries dont hack each other, they go to war with guns!

                Let’s suppose for one moment that the ‘core’ issue regarding Huawei is true for the one moment. With their own software stack their ability to intercept users data is even greater - not a comforting thought.

                    My best phone OS is android, but when it comes to security I think Apple are ahead as they roll-out updates quicker on Apple devices, same does android on Google Pixel phones.

                    Android updates roll out after a few months to other mobile phones like Huawei, Nokia, Sony or Samsung.
                    So I do support an OS for a specific phone brand. Its the way to go!

                      Great, All Chinese phones should use this OS. Xiaomi, Huawei, BBK, Lenovo, ZTE alone could take 50% of Android marketshare. This could push "Asian Pride" even further since Samsung, LG, Sony may join forces as well.

                      Goodbye Google, your time is up.

                        Sounds like Huawei is using AOSP with some new skins. Disappointed if that's all it is.

                              The question is what about the apps - like Google Maps and Facebook. Will they be accessible, will they work. Or will Huawei provide alternatives - a major undertaking.

                                NotAnOpinion, 13 Jun 2019ArkOS sounds more welcomed than HongMengOS. That's too Asia... moreDisagree.. We absolutely need third, forth and fifth OS. We need options and diversity, not a duopoly like now. I'm sure if Huawei team up with other Chinese companies,they could pull it off! I'm more than willing to give it a try, if its available.

                                  is good to have more OS, rather depend on android / ios only.
                                  is not about pro china or anti US, i think europe / latin america / asia / africa , should have its own OS as well. free from monoply.

                                    So unlike America the Chinese don't spy ? don't hide anything and have a completely clean past ? What will make a Chinese OS any better , safer or more reliable that a US one ?
                                    No government can be 100% trusted and nor can any companies be truly trusted either

                                      If its open source and more chinese OEM use it if even only for low end I see it being a competitor to android and 60% faster than android is quite good and Huawei selling atleast 215 million will be troublesome for all as they will do it while being banned from a very big western market and rumor said new OS will be based Aurora OS which us forked Sailfish
